Well it is true that you do not need a Realtor to buy or sell a property.  It is prudent to use the services of a licensed professional.  Real Estate transactions are legally binding and if not handled properly can end up leaving yourself open to legal actions against you.  Would you face a major charge against you in court without representation?  So why take the legal risk and liability of doing it yourself?

Do I have to pay to use a Realtor?

Only if you are the Seller.  The Seller pays for the sale and purchase Realtor fees of the home.  The Buyer's agent is compensated once your transaction has been finalized through the closing of Escrow.

How much should I price my property for sale?
